DESCRIPTION

High-fluoride liquid paraffin for competitive use as a finishing product or as a base for applying FP4 fluorinated waxes. Use on any type of damp or wet snow from -3° to 0°C. Humidity ranges from 60% to 100%. Recommended cold application with a cork pad and brush.

APPLICATION METHODOLOGY

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

The application of hydrocarbon paraffins (Med or Soft Racing Base or BP1), fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffins (LP2 or HP3) and perfluorinated waxes FP4 allows certain overlaps based on the following chemical affinities:
Hydrocarbon paraffin alone (Med or Soft Racing Base or BP1) or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin alone (LP2 or HP3) or mixed with other hydrocarbon paraffins;
Perfluorinated wax FP4 alone or mixed with other perfluorinated waxes but in any case superimposed on a fluorinated hydrocarbon paraffin (LP2 or HP3).
The direction in waxing operations must always be from the tip to the tail of the tool.
Racing waxing can be done hot or cold depending on the physical state of the products and the experience of the skiman.

COLD APPLICATION METHODOLOGY WITH CORK PAD AND BRUSH

• Spread the wax with a brush or drip it onto the base for about 15 cm;
• Allow the still liquid wax to penetrate the dispensing area by rubbing and pressing with a manual cork pad and repeat the operations along the entire base (the MT0111 cork/brush is useful);
• Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the wax to solidify;
• Brush the insole forward and backward, applying pressure with a stiff nylon hand brush;
• Polish the impression with a manual or rotating soft nylon brush.

APPLICATION METHODOLOGY WITH HOT AIR GUN

• Spread the wax with a brush or drip it onto the base for about 15 cm;
• Allow the still liquid wax to penetrate the dispensing area by rubbing and pressing with a manual cork pad and repeat the operations along the entire base (the MT0111 cork/brush is useful);
• Melt the wax by quickly moving the spatula of the heat pump (KZ07000) from tip to tail. Adjust the air temperature from 350° to 500° depending on the product applied;
• Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the base to cool and the wax to solidify;
• Brush the insole forward and backward, applying pressure with a stiff nylon hand brush;
• Polish the impression with a manual or rotating soft nylon brush.
